T.K. McEachin is a new writer & Conservative blogger born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She has a BA in Biology & Philosophy from Georgia State University & a minor in classical languages. She is very active in several local and national writing & critique groups. She has been an avid writer and reader since she was a young child and her favorite writers include (but are not limited to) Toni Morrison, Octavia Butler, Robert Jordan, Richard Wright, Janet Fitch, Steven Barnes, Tannanarive Due, Nalo Hopkinson, John Steinbeck, Zora Neale Hurston, Daniel Quinn,Chinua Achebe, JRR Tolkien, Isabel Allende, JK Rowling, Ayn Rand, Dean Koontz, Sistah Souljah and too many more to name! In her spare time besides reading, she enjoys healthy cooking, trying foods of different cultures, working to help conserve nature and wildlife, studying nearly extinct languages, etymology, studying evolutionary Botany and of course, writing. Her first novel, The Elements Book I, the first installment in a Fantasy series, will be released in 2012.
